Since 2010, Kit Cummings has been inside schools and prisons helping teens and inmates harness the power of good. His nonprofit is Power of Peace Project based in Atlanta. He has been showing people how to uncover their potential and add to the social economy. Kit is an international speaker, award-winning author and teacher who uses a platform called “Attitude Science” that he developed to teach “compassion and empathy” to the masses. Ordained as a preacher at age 25, Kit graduated from University of Georgia and admitted that he was the last person to be ordained because he “lived the party life while in Athens”. At age 40, he hit a crisis point and “the wheels fell off” so he left the pulpit and started helping others because he knew that feeling of rock bottom and rising up again. Kit has traveled the world taking his message of learning to prepare those to become “returning citizens”. Listen in as Kit talks about the business of institutions, how to pay attention to those inside them and prepare them to generate good.
